Ministry of Commerce inks 12 MoUs

KABUL (BNA): The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has signed cooperation agreements with 12 domestic and international organizations aimed at empowering entrepreneurs in Afghanistan.

According to a statement from the ministry’s press office, Nooruddin Azizi, the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, signed the agreements during a meeting with representatives and officials from these 12 organizations that are actively involved in supporting entrepreneurial development.

During the meeting, Azizi emphasized the importance of adhering to the laws of the Islamic Emirate and urged the organizations to ensure that their activities are in full compliance with the country’s legal framework.

The projects, to be implemented by these domestic and international organizations, are valued at a total of $6.9 million USD.

They will be carried out in the provinces of Kabul, Parwan, Herat, Balkh, Nangarhar, Bamyan, Kandahar, Zabul, Logar, Paktia, Kunar, Kapisa, Baghlan, and Kunduz, and are aimed at supporting investors and entrepreneurs across the country.
