Minor girl allegedly raped, killed in Hafizabad

HAFIZABAD: A minor girl of Jalalpur Bhattian was allegedly raped and killed by a fiendish Ricshaw driver.

The Jalalpur Bhattian Police have arrested the accused Zeeshan son of Shoukat and have recovered the dead body of the victim from nearby brick kiln.

According to police source, six-year-old Abeer Shahzadi of Najaf town Jalalpur Bhattian was on way to the Bazar for purchasing something but could not returned. The father of victim Zulqarnain and others went from pillar to post to locate the victim. However, some neighbours told him that they had seen her in the rickshaw of accused Zeeshan. He reported the incident to the police. The police arrested the accused and on his pointation, the police recovered the dead body from nearby brick killer. The police have shifted the dead body to the morgue for autopsy. Further investigations are in progress.
