F.P. Report

PESHAWAR: Caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Azam khan while taking notice of some unpleasant incidents that took place during the distribution of free wheat flour in some parts of the province, has directed Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for necessary measures to ensure the distribution of free wheat flour in an orderly and organized manner and to make easier for the deserving families to get free of cost flour during the holy month of Ramazan.

He has further directed to put in place a well devised mechanism for the smooth distribution of free of cost flour to the deserving families, and to ensure its implementation by the local administration in letter and spirit so that such unpleasant incidents could be prevented in future.

He issued these directives during a call on meeting of Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry who met him at Chief Minister’s House here on Friday and provided updates about free of cost flour distribution in the province and about the causes of unpleasant incidents in some parts of the province.

It was decided on the occasion that administrative secretaries of the provincial government would be assigned special tasks to monitor the distribution of free of cost flour across the province who will submit reports to the Chief Minister and the Chief Secretary about the free flour distribution on regular basis. A notification assigning one district to each Secretary for the purpose will soon be issued.
