Modern tourists resorts to be constructed in AJK, GB
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has said that modern tourists resorts would be constructed at all tourists destinations in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan.
In a statement, the minister said that promotion of tourism sector in AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan would bring progress and prosperity in the areas.
He said that modern access road to Rama Lake and Ferry Meadow was also under consideration in Gilgit-Baltistan.”
He said modern transport facilities would be started to all the tourist destinations in the AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan. Unfortunately, the minister said previous regimes were never given much attention to promotion of tourism and natural resources sectors in the AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan.
He said the AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan were God gifted natural beauty and sufficient natural resources, adding that visa policy would be made easier for the tourists, he said.
