KABUL: National Security Advisor Hamdullah Mohib has met US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Dr. Zalmay Khalilzad on the peace process in Dubai.
Dr. Mohib also held talks with his UAE counterpart in Abu Dhabi before departing for Saudi Arabia, a statement from the National Security Council said on Monday.
“The meeting with UAE’s National Security Adviser focused on Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process and joint fight against terrorism,” the NSC added.
On the conclusion of his trip to China, the NSA travelled to Saudi Arabia for discussions on the Afghan peace talks and bilateral cooperation between Kabul and Riyadh. (Pajhwok)
