Mohmand Dam will be built at all cost: Vawda

F.P. Report

KARACHI: Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda said on Friday that the Mohmand Dam would be built at all cost.

During a news conference, Vawda said former rulers had only made promises to people and had not done any practical work.

According to the minister, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) did not want the government in Sindh to fall nor was it conspiring to do so.

Vadwa hoped that Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah would fulfil his responsibilities. “There are only promises of what the Sindh government intends to do,” he said.

The minister warned of consequences if the Sindh government did not live up to its promises. “You know what I am capable of if the Sindh government does not work,” Vadwa told reporters.

“30 per cent of those working in the town office are in jail and they are receiving salaries,” he added.

The minister emphasised that no one besides Allah could make the PTI government fall even if it only had the majority by one vote.
