MoI increases number of security checkpoints

KABUL (Tolonews): The Ministry of interior (MoI) said it has increased checkpoints in Kabul to ensure security for residents.

Abdul Nafi Takoor, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, said security forces are committed to not allowing any person or group disturb security during Eid.

“We assure our countrymen that your security forces are endeavouring day and night to provide a good security situation,” said Takoor.

“We came out (to provide) security for our compatriots so they pass the Eid days comfortably,” said Ziaullah, a member of the security forces.

“The security is very good, and the security forces treat residents very well,” said Shir Agha, a resident.

“We are happy to experience good security. We are happy and pray for out security forces,” said Noor Agh, a resident.
