HANGU: In a bid to arrest widespread effects of third wave of Covid-19 in its operational areas, MOL Pakistan Oil and Gas Company B.V has extended support to the Hangu district management by providing quality hand sanitizers and a sizable quantity of PPEs including face masks and disposable gowns.

In a simple ceremony, the donation was given to the district administration. Hameed Ullah Shah, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hangu District and Sardar Bahadar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Hangu appreciated MOL Pakistan for this initiative.

In his message, MOL Group Regional Vice President Middle East, Africa, and Pakistan, Ali Murtaza Abbas said, “As a socially responsible company, we are with the people of Pakistan during these challenging times and continue to support anti-pandemic efforts in the fight against the spread of the virus in the country.”

It is pertinent to mention here that MOL Pakistan was one of the first companies to respond to the pandemic by providing millions of rupees in funding for the setup of quarantine centers in Islamabad. Subsequently, throughout the pandemic, MOL Pakistan has donated thousands of PPE in order to strengthen anti-pandemic efforts and to help support compliance with government issued standard operating procedures (SOPs) to contain the spread of coronavirus.
