Money laundering case: NAB summons former premier Gillani

F.P. Report

RAWALPINDI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned the former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani in connection with investigation into the money laundering case, on Tuesday.

According to details, the Ex-premier Gilani has been asked to appear before NAB at the old NAB headquarters today for questioning.

It is pertinent to mention here that the bureau has already interrogated former president Asif Ali Zardari, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and former chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah since the case was transferred to Rawalpindi from Karachi.

Reports say PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari and his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have decided to seek more time from NAB to file reply in the money laundering case.

It added that the party leaders would seek a period of 15 days to file reply to NAB questionnaire. The top leaders couldn’t yet submit reply due to busy schedule in the wake of party activities, sources added.
