MoPH committed eradicating Tuberculosis in Afghanistan: Dr. Ebad

KABUL (Agencies): Dr. Qalandar Ebad, Acting Minister of Public Health, welcomed the functions of the department in the fight against tuberculosis in the “Review of the Mission of the National Tuberculosis Control Program” meeting.
During a meeting, the Acting Minister of Public Health, called infectious diseases, especially tuberculosis, a health challenge in Afghanistan.
The Ministry of Public Health is committed to eradicating tuberculosis in Afghanistan, and we support and appreciate all the international institutions that cooperate with this ministry in this regard he added.
Dr. Ebad said that the Ministry of Public Health is a non-political administration and its purpose is to provide health services and we ask the international community to cooperate with us in strengthening health services.
