MoPH: Nearly 3,500 Covid-19 cases reported in April

The Ministry of Public Health said that in April there have been almost 3,500 cases of Covid-19 reported in the country.
According to the ministry, the process of vaccination against Covid-19 will start in several provinces of the country in the next few days.
“In last month we also had a campaign of Covid-19 vaccination in 13 provinces, and we will have a booster dose campaign in May,” said Sharaft Zaman Amirkhil, spokesman for the Public Health Ministry.
The reported number of people infected with Covid-19 from the beginning of this year until the present all over the country is as follows:

Maryam, 13, is a student in grade 6 and she said that she has been infected with Covid-19 for six days and was hospitalized in the Covid-19 department of the Afghan Japan Hospital.
“My legs and body were in pain, and we came here to this hospital,” said Maryam.
“One day I prayed in the morning and after that I felt pain in my body and i came here,” said Khalid a patient.
Meanwhile, some doctors at the Afghan Japan Hospital said that in the last few weeks the number of positive and suspicious cases of this disease have increased in the capital, and they called on Public Health Ministry to create more centers for this disease.
“We also have children who are sick. We have several child patients whose tests are positive,” said Qiyamulddin Fitrat, a doctor. The Ministry of Public Health says that the ministry has all the facilities to treat infected patients and will ask for help from the international community when faced with a critical situation.
