KABUL (Agencies): The Deputy Minister of Water and Energy Mujibur Rahman Umar Akhundzada, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Joyce Dalgliesh Country Director of the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) for Afghanistan, the ministry said in a statement.
The MoU signed for the implementation of water development projects, according to the source.
“Afghanistan needs the joint cooperation of national and international institutions in water management sector and the leadership of the Ministry of Water and Energy welcomes the joint cooperation,” the statement quoted the deputy minister as saying.
It is worth mentioning that based on the MoU, Danish Refugee Council (DRC) will cooperate with the Ministry of Water and Energy in implementing water management development projects and supplying drinking water to the people of Afghanistan.
