LAHORE: Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Ahmer Rasheed Bhatti has declined to accept vice-presidentship of the party’s Lahore chapter.
Some active PTI leaders had already expressed their inability to accept any party position in Lahore.
Ahmer Rashid Bhatti said that while he was in jail one inmate informed him that he is being appointed as vice-president of Allama Iqbal Town but he refused to accept the post.
He said after sometime he was informed that the party had nominated him as PTI Lahore vice-president, but this time too he turned down this offer.
He further clarified that he is no more interested to become any office-bearer of the party.
