MQM, GDA agree on election seat adjustments

KARACHI: The formula for seat adjustments between Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) in elections has been agreed, on Saturday.

According to sources, the GDA will support MQM candidates on NA-237 and PS-105.

Rauf Siddiqui is the candidate of MQM on NA-237 while Muhammad Daniyal is the candidate of MQM on PS-105, the sources said.

On the other hand, the MQM will support GDA candidate Irfanullah Marwat in PS-105 instead of their candidate, the sources added.

In this regard important announcements are expected today at a joint press conference from the leaders of both the parties.
