ISLAMABAD: Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Dr Farooq Sattar has decided to challenge the alleged horse-trading in the Senate elections in the Supreme Court and Election Commission of Pakistan.
While talking to media persons on Tuesday, Sattar claimed that 15 lawmakers of MQM-P shifted their loyalties by selling their votes to other parties in the recent senate election.
He blamed that Pakistan Peoples Party used huge amount of money during the Senate elections.
Sattar announced that after the investigation it is confirmed now that over 15 members of MQM-P were sold their vote and people trust by taking money from the other political parties.
MQM-P chief asked the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to investigate the matter and monitor CCTV footages of the Sindh Assembly.
He also demanded from the Supreme court to take notice of the recent senate election and declared it null and void.
