MQM-P, PSP facilitated MQM founder Iltaf Hussain: Sarfaraz Merchant

KARACHI: The main accused in MQM money laundering case, Sarfraz Merchant has said that both Farooq Sattar and Mustafa Kamal led the facilitators in Pakistan of the party founder Iltaf Hussain.

Merchant said this while talking to private channel. He added that members of both the parties Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) are facilitating the MQM founder Iltaf Hussain.

Metropolitican police also accused the Merchant, a former close ally of the MQM founder, in the money-laundering case and he is remained on police bail along with the other leaders of the MQM, after his arrest in 2013.

He accused that both the Farooq Sattar and Mustafa Kamal are following the direction of MQM founder and they are the main characters of facilitating the Iltaf Hussain.

Last month, Merchant said the London Metropolitan Police has not closed the money laundering case against the party founder.
