Mualana Fazl likely to meet Nawaz Sharif in jail on Friday

F.P. Report

LAHORE: Central Amir of Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazl ur Rehman will likely to meet former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday (tomorrow) in Kot Lakhpat Jail.

According to local media reports, both the leaders will discuss current political situation, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) cases and opposition alliance.

Earlier on March 11, Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also met with Nawaz Sharif and now Mualana Fazl’s visit will likely to clear the opposition move against the incumbent government.

While talking to media outside Kot Lakhpat jail, Bilawal had insisted that it was completely a non-political meeting as he only arrived to inquire after ailing Nawaz Sharif.

“Every human has some cultural values despite having political differences, while our religion teaches us to inquire about the health of a person who is suffering from a disease.”

The meeting drew strong reaction from the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) with Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry strongly critisizing Bhutto-Zardari. He said: “U Turn of the Century Grandson of Bhutto reunion with Munh Bola Beta of Zia Ul Haq.”

Responding to him, the PPP chairman in a tweet said: “If U-turns make great leaders in Naya-Pakistan your saying I am now Leader of the Century? Also visiting someone who is ill should be seen for what it is. Humanity above politics. Pehlay insan bano phir syasatan bano. Remember NS visit when the old khan fell and broke his back?”
