Mufti Qavi sent on physical remand for a week in Qandeel Baloch case

MULTAN: Mufti Abdul Qavi, the main accused in a Qandeel Baloch murder case, was presented in the court of judicial magistrate on Monday after his judicial remand was completed.

As the hearing began both sides presented their arguments and later the court sent Mudti Qavi on physical remand for seven days and ordered the police to present him before the court on November 20 next year.

Mufti Qavi already spent two weeks in police custody and now again he was sent to jail on judicial remand for seven days on Monday. Mufti Qavi was also gone through a polygraph test at Punjab Forensic Science Authority (PFSA) in Lahore. However, PFSA officials said the accused was not cooperative during the lie-detection test.
