Murderer of Asma confess to his crime

MARDAN: The main suspect in the case of four-old Asma of Gujargari area who was murdered after being subjected to sexually assault, has written -confessed before senior civil judge Mardan. The written confession of the prime suspect in minor Asma case had been viral on social media by officials concerned here on Saturday.

As per written confession, the accused stated that his name was Muhammad Nabi son of Ubaidullah resident of Tuheed Abad Jandarpar Gujargari area. The Senior Civil Judge Asim Riaz who recorded the written confession of the accused, quoted the accused Muhammad Nabi as saying that he was working in a local hotel on daily wages.

On the incident day, he told the judge that he did not go on work on that day due to a wedding ceremony of one of his neighbors in the same street. He told that he was standing in the entrance of a shop located in the street when the victim baby girl was playing with other children of neighbors in a small ground in front of the shop.

He said that Asma came to that shop and demanded him to give her sugarcane when the other children went to the house of wedding ceremony and she remained alone in the small playing ground. He told the judicial officer that he firstly subjected her to sexual assault and then strangulated her to death when she was crying and weeping due to severe pains and failed to calm her on the occasion.

At the end of written-confession, the accused the singed his statement before the senior civil judge Mardan. When The Frontier Post contacted DSP headquarter Ikhtiraz Khan for his comments in this connection, he confirmed that the main suspect in the case of four-year old Asma had given his written confession of the crime of raping and murdering the said minor victim before the senior civil judge Mardan.
