Murderer sentenced for death penalty

PESHAWAR: Additional District and Session Judge (AD&SJ) Peshawar convicted murdered named Imran for death penalty twice in killing/slaughtering of two relative women during robbery on 25th September 2014.

It is worthy to mention that the case was remanded back by Federal Shariat Court for fresh trial as the culprit was previously convicted for two times lifetime imprisonment. Moreover, another alleged culprit named Bilal is still absconder from the court of law.

The counsel Ishfaq Ahmad Afridi advocate argued that belonging of deceased in the shape of Jewlery and watch was recovered at the time of arrest. He added that accused Imran led the local police to Sialkot and recovered further incriminating articles in shape of jewellery were recovered.

As well as the accused Imran confess his guilt before Learned Judicial Magistrate and narrated the plan and preparation of this tragic and callous incident along with his absconding accused Bilal, as the story of prosecution and confessional statement of accused Imran were in line, the counsel argued.

According to details, police registered First Information Report on the complaint of Jameel Anwar against unknown accused on 25/9/2014 Under Section 17(4) Haraba, 411, 412 PPC and 15AA at Police Station Faqeer Abad for murder of his mother and wife of his brother as two innocent ladies were slaughtered brutally and gruesome manner and Jewellery and cash were stole.

The local police were investigating on different aspect in such like crimes it was a difficult and challenging task for police to arrest the main culprit/culprits finally on 13/10/2014 accused Imran resident of Shabqadar was arrested along with belonging of deceased (Jewellery ) and some stolen incriminating articles in the shape of jewellery hidden in the District Sialkot (Punjab) where accused Imran led the police to Sialkot further jewelry was recovered on the pointing of the accused at under construction Green marriage Hall.

Wherein husband of Imran’s sister was a security guard namely Ibrahim was also made a witness of incriminating Articles in shape of Jewlery. Ibrahim was also appeared in court and testify against his brother in law (accused Imran).

Accused Imran made confession before Learned Judicial Magistrate and confess the brutal murder (slaughter)of both the innocent ladies and stealing Jewlery and cash amount he also named his co accused Bilal (still absconding). Thereafter, on 21/10/2014 complainant charged the maternal relative accused Imran and Bilal for the murder of his mother and wife of his brother.
