Mushahid Hussain rejoins PML-N after meeting Nawaz

 LAHORE: Senator of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), Mushahid Hussain Sayed has announced his rejoining in Pakistan Muslim League after a meeting with the former premier Nawaz Sharif Jati Umra on Sunday.

The senior parliamentarian formally announced his joining after he was assured of a senate ticket. In the meeting senior PML-N leaders including premier’s daughter Maryam Nawaz, Senator Pervaiz Rashid and Federal Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique were present.

Senator Mushahid remained an active member of PML-N as a trusted member in the past and also held the post of interior ministry.

However, he joined PML-Q during the tenure of former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf and was elected as a senator from Islamabad on a technocrat seat. His senate tenure end in 2018.
