KARACHI: Former Military Dictator Pervez Musharraf has rejected all the allegations of his involvement in the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and adding that PPP leader should asked Rehman Malik about as he is the main culprit in the incident.
Earlier, in an interview to BBC, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari claimed that Musharaf is the real force behind the murder of BB Shaheed. Bilawal said that Musharaf purposely sabotaged her security so that she would be assassinated and he exploited this entire situation to assassinate my mother.
Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in a gun and bomb attack in Rawalpindi on December 27, 2007, as she returned after addressing a mammoth rally at Liaquat Bagh.
While talking to private news channel, Musharraf said that he is not involved in BB assassination. Where is slain premier’s mobile phone and postmortem, which could have led to some clues about the high-profile assassination, he questioned.
PPP leadership is afraid of him and it only adds to my popularity when speeches are delivered against me at the rallies, he added.
