ASTANA: President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain has said that Muslim world is failed to pay attention to education and that is the biggest reason that we remained underdeveloped comparing to the other countries of the world.
Mamnoon said while addressing to the Organization of Islamic conference on Science and Technology in Astana city of Kazakhstan on Sunday. President Mamnoon said that Muslim world should concentrate on the development of science and technology as it is the way of development and tackling the modern day’s challenges.
The participants of conference looks determined which is positive and apparent sign that this conference will bring positive results in future, he added.
President Mamnoon assured the participants that Pakistan will perform its part in developing of science and technology in the Muslim world.
The first one day conference of Science and Technology was organized by OIC to identify priorities, goals and targets for the promotion of science and technology and bringing innovation in the OIC member states.
