NA-4 by-polls: Bilawal to address political gathering in Peshawar today

PESHAWAR: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address a political gathering on Sunday (today) with the aim to motivate the workers of PPP and masses ahead of NA-4 by-polls on 26 October.

PPP told media that the party Chairman will arrive to Peshawar and will address political gathering at Badabher area of Peshawar. Provincial President of PPP Humayun Khan and other senior leadership will accompany Bilawal.

All eyes on the NA-4 by-polls which is due on October 26 and it is a biggest test for the ruling PTI to show his popularity which is on the decrease as per the some analyst.

The NA-4 seat was fallen vacant after the death of PTI MNA Gulzar Khan on August 28. Gulzar Khan had estranged with the party leadership over differences on several issues.

The constituency consists of suburban areas of Peshawar, including Badabher, Chamkani, Matni, Adezai, Ahmadkhel, Bazidkhel and Koh Damaan.

Meanwhile, the PTI is fielding Arbab Amir Ayub; the PPP Asad Gulzar, late incumbent Gulzar Khan’s son; the ANP Khushdil Khan, former deputy speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and the JI, Wisal Farooq.
