NAB chairman takes notice of influencing high profile cases

Lahore: National Accountability Court (NAB) has taken the notice of complaints on influence being exercised by some senior officers in ongoing high profile cases.

Chairman NAB had received complaints that some senior officers of NAB headquarters are involved in influencing different cases.

Chairman NAB Justice(R) Javaid Iqbal has taken the notice of such complaints and warning letters have been issued by DG operation division to all regions.

It has been mentioned in the letter that all officers should work within their legal limits. They should follow legal requirements and norms of merit.

Officers should not come under any pressure. Warning has been given in the letter that no such impression should come that officers are supporting any party. Legal action will be taken against the offices found involved in making undue interference.
