NAB clears Nawaz Sharif in Toshakhana reference

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has exonerated Nawaz Sharif in the Toshakhana reference, on Wednesday.

According to the channel, NAB submitted a report to the accountability court in Islamabad regarding implementation of the court orders for investigating the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in connection with the Toshakhana vehicles case.

The report highlighted that Nawaz Sharif purchased the vehicle from the Federal Transport Pool, not from the Toshakhana.

Furthermore, the report stated that there was no evidence to suggest that Nawaz Sharif made the payment from a fake account so it does not become a NAB case against him.
