ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday has approved to bring back Hasan, Hussain Nawaz, sons of Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan through Interpol.
The corruption watchdog held a meeting today in this regard and after the meeting NAB chief Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal told media persons that the bureau has approved to take the Interpol assistance to bring Hasan and Hussain Nawaz, the sons of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, back to Pakistan.
He rejected any political motives behind the move and adding that NAB is not targeting any of political party.
Yesterday on Wednesday, NAB sources also said the anti-graft body would be initiating proceedings to bring former finance minister Ishaq Dar and Ali Imran, son-in-law of PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif, back to the country.
Caretaker interior minister Azam Khan has previously said the authority to bring anyone back through the Interpol rests with the Ministry of Interior.
