NAB delivers summons for Nawaz Sharif at his residence

LAHORE: Officials of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) delivered summons at checkpoint of Nawaz Sharif residence Jati Umra on Monday as they were not allowed to go inside the premises.
According to details, former premier Nawaz Sharif has been summoned by NAB at its Lahore office on 21 of this month.
NAB sources told private news channel that Nawaz Sharif has been summoned to record his statement in a corruption case regarding the misuse of authority to construct a road from Raiwind to Jati Umra.
The case involves the alleged misappropriation of Rs125 million.
Investigations against the Sharif brothers in the case were initiated by NAB on April 17, 2000.
