NAB-Niazi nexus has ruined country’s economy: Hamza Shahbaz

LAHORE: Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz on Thursday said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB)-Niazi [Prime Minister Imran Khan] nexus has ruined the country’s economy.

Talking to media in Lahore on Thursday, he said that there is no difference between anti-graft watchdog and Mansha Bomb, adding that the Bureau embarrassed the nation by handcuffing teachers.

Plea bargain has been made new system for extortion, he said and added the nation would hold the NAB accountable.

The opposition leader further warned PM Imran Khan of the day when the nation would hold him accountable; adding that Allah almighty protect the nation from their [Govt] vice.

“In 71-year history of the country, Dollar (USD) has touched to its highest value against Pakistani Rupee while a tsunami of inflation would be experienced soon in the month of Ramadan,” he said. “Gas and electricity tariffs are expected to be surged by 80pc.”

Hamza Shahbaz went on to say that Imran Khan had declared advisor to PM on Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs Abdul Hafeez Shaikh as incapable before coming into power, now, he is talented person.
