ISLAMABAD: A Lahore-based team of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) raided the house of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Wednesday after his summon regarding corruption references in accountability court was issued last week.
The Lahore NAB team investigation team reached Islamabad and raided existing minister s house. They interrogated the suspects. Dar wasn t present in his home as he departed for the United States (US) along with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session.
Sources revealed that the team contained two persons and showed court summons to the residents. They were showed bailable arrest warrant of Ishaq Dar that were issued by NAB court today.
Dar s domestic employees received the arrest warrant, sources claimed. The finance minister has been ordered by the court to appear in reference regarding his assets.
