NAB withdraws notice to deceased Ali Nawaz Shah in assets beyond means case

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau has withdrawn summon notice sent to deceased Ali Nawaz Shah and the authorities have been directed to take action against those responsible.

According to details, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Khurshid Shah is under investigation by JIT in assets beyond means case. As part of the investigation, it was found that Khurshid Shah is a partner in spinning mills.

According to Security and exchange commission Pakistan (SECP) record, Ali Nawaz Shah was also a shareholder in the mills for which he and all other shareholders were issued summons.

NAB Sukkur was unaware of Ali Nawaz Shah’s death. Chairman NAB directed to withdraw the summon notice and also ordered for action to be taken against those responsible for the oversight.
