Naqvi assures Bugti for extending all-out support to Balochistan

BALOCHISTAN : Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi vowed on Tuesday to extend all-out support to Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti for the sake of improving the law and order situation in the province.

Naqvi held a meeting with CM Bugti in Quetta. On this occasion, both the leaders exchanged views on the law and order situation and other matters. Expressing his thoughts on the occasion, Naqvi said: “We are there to serve the Baloch brothers in every capacity. All the resources are available to uplift Balochistan.”

Naqvi acknowledged the role of Balochistan in contributing in the development of the country.

Meanwhile, CM Bugti said: “All the resources are being utilised to maintain law and order in the province.”

– Naqvi hails Tessori for inaugurating IT marquee –

Few days back, Naqvi hailed on Thursday Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori for inaugurating the IT marquee.

According to details, Naqvi visited the IT marquee along with Tessori in Karachi. On this occasion, the students welcomed both Naqvi and Tessori with verve.

Tessori said: “I would like to urge the students to not disappoint. Through the Governor Sindh Rozgar Scheme up to Rs10 million will be provided for doing business.”

Meanwhile, Naqvi commended the services of Tessori, saying, “I used to listen about the intiatives taken by the Sindh governor. But today I am getting the opportunity to witness them myself.”

“The Sindh governor had developed a small city in the form of IT marquee,” Naqvi said.

“Such a project can only be initiated by Kamran Tessori,” he added.

– Govt decides to constitute special protection force –

Separately, Naqvi decided to constitute a special protection force for the security of foreign nationals.

Naqvi chaired a meeting in Islamabad in connection with the law and order situation. On this occasion, Naqvi directed the use of modern technology to tighten the noose around the drug gangs.

“The sale of ice and other drugs outside the educational institutions will not be tolerated. The drug dealers are against the country’s prosperity and uplift,” he said.

Shedding light on the the first information reports (FIRs), Naqvi also directed to ensure the registration of the FIRs at any cost. He made it clear that action would be taken against the concerned police officers for not registering the FIRs.

The interior minister had summoned the comprehensive plan in a bid to address the traffic issues in the federal capital city.

Naqvi had also asked to wrap up the promotion case of the Islamabad police as soon as possible and fill the vacant posts.

He had also hinted at equipping Islamabad Safe City with modern requirements on the pattern of Lahore Safe City.
