Nation will decide who respects judiciary and who doesn’t: Marriyum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD (APP): Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Monday that the nation will decide who respects the judiciary and constitution and who does not.

While talking to media outside accountability court, the minister said that the public knows the people well who escape court hearings and abuse the constitutional departments.

Her statement came as ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz appeared in accountability court over references filed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Panama Leaks case.

The court approved the bails of Maryam Nawaz and Captain (r) Safdar, who was earlier arrested by NAB from Islamabad airport on his return from London while proceeding to declare Nawaz’s sons Hassan and Hussain as proclaimed offenders was started.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan himself is puppet of umpire’s finger, therefore he also views others like him.

Reacting to PTI Chief’s conversation at a public rally at Buner, she said that Imran Khan should present himself in the court to end his status as a proclaimed offender.

She notified that Imran indulged in money laundering using Zakat Fund and is not ready to answer about party funding but is pointing fingers at those who had accounted for each and every penny.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had worked for building the country while the opponents are busy in implementing their disruptive agenda.

She pointed out that during the last four years Imran only organized sit-ins, spread chaos in the country, resorted to disruptive politics and degraded the state institutions. The PTI government had wasted four years of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as well, she added.
