Navaid visits One Window Facilitation Desk at airport

KARACHI: Member-in-Charge Federal Ombudsman Naveed Ahmed Sheikh and Associate Advisor Dr Riaz Ahmed Memon visited the One Window Facilitation Desk for Overseas Pakistanis at Jinnah International Airport.

They held a detailed discussion with the representatives of different departments regarding the complaints registered by the passengers.

The officials present at the desk told Naveed Ahmed Sheikh that most of the passengers’ complaints are related to ‘Protectorate’. Member-in-charge Federal Ombudsman said that we have to ensure the efficient functioning of One Window Center. He said that the facilitation desk was established for overseas Pakistanis but ordinary travelers are also benefiting from it.

Member-in-charge Federal Ombudsman checked the attendance of the staff present at the desk and instructed to ensure 100% attendance. Naveed Ahmed Sheikh said that all the departments have a great responsibility to resolve problems faced by the passengers. He said that a monthly report should be prepared comprising of the complaints registered at the facilitation desk to ascertain in which cases the passengers are having troubles.

Naveed Ahmed Sheikh and Dr Riaz Ahmed Memon also visited the immigration counter and instructed the FIA duty in-charge to provide maximum convenience to the passengers.
