Nawaz to appear before accountability court on Monday

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif is likely to appear before the accountability court on October 2 in three references filed against him and his children.

Sources within PML-N told media that Nawaz Sharif will reach to Islamabad from Lahore on Sunday. However the Nawaz Sharif visit to London could not finalized so far to enquire the health of his ailing wife Kulsoom Nawaz as she was undergoing treatment in London.

Earlier on Tuesday, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had appeared before a National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court in connection with the three corruption references. The court had summoned the ex-PM again on Oct 2 for formally indicting him in the three separate references.
