Nawaz asked me to file a fake narcotics case against Asif Zardari: Ch Shujaat

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has claimed that the disqualified prime minister Nawaz Sharif asked him to file a fake narcotics case against Asif Ali Zardari.

The senior politician revealed that in his book ‘Sach To Hai’ which will launched in Lahore on Tuesday. Shujaat said that he refused to file the case against the former president.

He wrote that before Nawaz was sworn in as prime minister for second in 1997, Mian Sharif promised me that Pervez Elahi would be made Chief Minister of Punjab but Nawaz appointed his younger brother after taking power.

Regarding the former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, PML-Q leader claimed that Pervez Musharraf used to say that Jamali was extremely lazy.

Musharaf complained that PM Jamali wakes up at noon and had differences with him son I advised him to resign, he wrote in his book.
