Nawaz given ‘agenda to humiliate institutions’, alleges Rasheed

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League (AML) head Sheikh Rasheed on Monday alleged that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has been given “the agenda of humiliating national institutions.”

Speaking to media here, the AML chief said PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has not been able to run the country and the circumstances are out of his control. He said members of the ruling Nawaz-league have lost their senses.

Rasheed noted that a Punjab prosecutor slapped a uniformed deputy superintendent of police (DSP) outside the accountability court and said, “Be thankful for the PML-N members did not take the judge away with them.”

He said that “Nawaz Sharif has been given the agenda of humiliating national institutions”, however, the entire nation stands with the Pakistan Army and judiciary.

The AML chief also criticised the Sharif family and a couple of PML-N ministers, labelling Nawaz Sharif, Maryam, Ahsan Iqbal, Khawaja Asif and Captain (retd) Safdar as the “gang of five.” He further slammed Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah describing him as “greatest of all liars.”
