ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in National Assembly and senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Syed Khursheed Shah has said Nawaz Sharif should remember those days when he refused a meeting with the former President Asif Ali Zardari.
Shah said this in a reaction to Nawaz’s comments on Thursday when he said that Zardari is targeting him with the aim to please someone. Shah said that Nawaz was pleasing someone when he refused meeting with Zardari and adding that Mian Sahib should say who he was trying to please then by refusing meeting with Zardari when he was trying to contact for the condolences of their relatives death.
Nawaz is in trouble not democracy and it is not responsibility of PPP to save Nawaz, we always give hand to Nawaz for strengthening the democracy, Shah claimed.
He advised Nawaz to stop putting democracy in danger, and face the court in true manners and stop maligning the institutions. Shah said that what goes around comes around while addressing the former prime minister.
