ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Interior, Talal Chaudhry has said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has the right to choose Nawaz Sharif as party president.
This he said while talking to media persons after re-electing the former premier Nawaz Sharif as the president of PML-N. he said that Nawaz Sharif should get all the rights granted to a normal citizen and he needs to be allow to participate in the politics in a democratic manner.
He claimed that Nawaz Sharif will be prime minister again in the general elections of 2018 and adding that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek petitions will change nothing for PML-N.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Pakistan Awami Tehreek challenged the Elections Bill 2017 in the Lahore High Court, pleading to have the law declared null and void.
