Nawaz Sharif to address rally in Abbottabad today

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will address Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) political gathering in Abbottabad today.

Senators Pervaiz Rasheed and Asif Kirmani while visiting Abbottabad’s college ground the site of political gathering. Asif Kirmani said that today’s rally will set an example in the country’s political history and people will show their love towards Nawaz Sharif.

He added that the election will be on time and rejected the PTI demands of early election.

Senator Rasheed said that the political rivals will have no other option to run away from next election because they knew that people are supporting PML-N.

Provincial party leaders Sardar Mehtab Abbasi and Ameer Muqam also visited the venue.

Nawaz had launched a public mobilization drive after his disqualification by the Supreme Court on July 28, reaching Lahore via GT Road.

Sources said the former premier is attempting to revive that campaign with the Abbottabad rally serving as the first stop.

Nawaz and his family face three corruption references filed by the National Accountability Bureau.
