BAHAWALPUR: The ousted prime minister and supermo of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif will address the public rally in Bahawalpur on Thursday (today).
PML-N sources told media that all the preparations were finalized and the rally will be held at Dring Stadium in Bahawalpur.
Party local leader told that a 120-feet-long and 24-feet-wide stage was made for the event while chairs were set for the participants.
Earlier on Thursday, Nawaz’s daughter Maryam Nawaz addressed PML-N’s social media workers convention in Faisalabad where she spoke about contempt of court notices issued to leaders of her father’s party, saying contempt of court law cannot be used to defend weak and unjust decisions.
She said that nothing has been found against Nawaz Sharif in the ongoing corruption cases in the past six months.
