ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif appeared before the accountability court to face the corruption references and the court allowed Nawaz Sharif to exit the court after making his attendance so proceedings could start.
The accountability court had summoned the Nawaz Sharif and his family to face the courts in three references which were filed against them on the directives of Supreme Court in Panama case verdict on 28 July.
Large number of PML-N workers, leaders, lawyers and others were present in the court compound for their leader.
Judge Muhammad Bashir directed Nawaz to record his attendance and allowed Nawaz Sharif to leave to settle down the chaos in the court.
Nawaz Sharif advocate, Khawaja Haris is present in the court and proceeding are underway in the three corruption references against the Nawaz Sharif and his family.
