Nawaz Sharif receives three court summons at Punjab house

ISLAMABAD: The ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif is holding informal party meeting at the Punjab House where senior party leaders were present in it.

Earlier, former premier Nawaz reached Punjab House after arriving at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport from London on Thursday morning. As per the PML-N sources Nawaz Sharif is expected to appear in the accountability on Friday in the corruption references.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB), five members team met Nawaz in the presence of his lawyers.

Nawaz received the three court summons while Tariq Fazal Chaudhry signed the bail bond on behalf of Nawaz Sharif.

DG NAB Rawalpindi Nasir Iqbal directed the NAB team serve the summons at Punjab house and not to go airport.

Nawaz Sharif reached the Punjab house in the strict security from airport. At the VIP lounge of airport Nawaz held a brief meeting with the party leaders and government officials who were present at the airport to receive him.

Federal ministers, including Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, Defense Production Minister, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Aviation Adviser Mushahidullah Khan and other party leader and government officials.
