Nawaz, Zardari destroyed future of PML-N, PPP: Fawad

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has criticized the opposition for misleading the public on different issues with the aim to divert people’s attention from corruption cases against their top leadership.

Chaudhry said this while sharing his message on his Twitter handle on Wednesday, he said that both Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari has destroyed the future of their political parties because of their corruption.

He also asked the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to stop defending the corruption cases against their leaders Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari, respectively and focus instead on a new political narrative.

Chaudhry claimed that Nawaz and Zardari have darkened the future of the parties and adding their non-serious narrative about the alleged attempts to roll back 18th Amendment or install the presidential form of government in the country to divert attention from their cases won’t work.

A day earlier, former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari had vowed to resist a bid to introduce the presidential form of government in the country.

The former president was of the opinion that the country’s situation was going from bad to worse.
