Needy families received aid in Takhar

TAKHAR (Agencies): In cooperation with the Department of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, the World Food Programme in Takhar distributed food to 10,430 needy and poor families in Talagan city through the Shelter for Life office.
The officials of Takhar’s Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department say that needy family received flour, oil, rice, sugar, beans and other food items.
Meanwhile, after the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan sovereignty, food aid from the World Food Programme has been continuing in Takhar for one and a half years.
