Needy families received aid

KABUL (Agencies): Food and non-food items were provided to 5,660 needy families in Samangan, Ghor, Farah and Helmand provinces. Food items were distributed to over 4,000 poor families by World Food Programme in Dara Suf district near Samangan. Meanwhile, cash assistance distributed to 350 needy families in Dolina district of Ghor, where 150 families received 10,600 Afghanis and the remaining 200 families received 38,000 Afghanis. 810 needy families received food aid in Anardara district of Farah. 500 needy families assisted by Naseer Charity Foundation in Lashkargah city of Helmand.
