ISLAMABAD: Much to the chagrin of people, who are already coming to grips with the rising costs of living, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Tuesday dropped yet another bombshell on them by approving Rs3.39 per unit hike in the electricity prices.
The latest raise in tariff was made in connection with fourth quarterly adjustment of year 2021-22.
The new rates will take effect in October and will be collected from consumers within three months.
The NEPRA will release details of its decision after reviewing the figures.
