New Learned Counsel Requested in Case of U.S. v. Khalid Shaikh Mohammed et al.

WASHINGTON: The candidacy of Mr. Matthew Engle of Charlottesville, Virginia, to serve as Learned Counsel for Mr. Walid Bin ‘Atash in the Military Commission case of U.S. v. Khalid Shaikh Mohammed et al. in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba has been forwarded to the Convening Authority.  Mr. Engle is a partner at Donovan & Engle and a member of the Virginia Bar. 

He has served as Legal Director of the Innocence Project Clinic at the University of Virginia and has represented clients through the Virginia Capital Representation Resource Center and the Office of the Capital Defender for Northern Virginia.
