New rain, snowfall spell to hit many cities

ISLAMABAD: Different areas of the country will receive light rain and snowfall from today, on Wednesday.

The westerly winds will enter Balochistan, the Meteorological Department said.

Snowfall is likely in Quetta, Zhob, Barkhan, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Nokundi, Dalbandin and other areas.

The Meteorological Department has alerted the departments concerned.

Similarly, a new wave of cold will enter Karachi from January 21 and 22.

Drizzle and light rain are likely in Qambar Shahdadkot, Kashmore, Shikarpur, Larkana, Sukkur, Ghotki, Khairpur, Dadu and Naushehro Feroze.

In Lahore, fog has withered away. However, the intensity of the cold remains. The temperature in the city was recorded six degrees Celsius.

In Murree, snowfall has stopped, and the sun shines. The tourists have thronged the hill station.
