F.P. Report
LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said on Saturday that had Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) not been defeated in polls for Senate chairman, the party leaders would have ‘legislated for stealing’.
Khan addressed a convention of social media in Lahore today and in his speech he criticised former chief of PML-N Nawaz Sharif among other political leaders.
PTI chief said that Nawaz’s battlecry since disqualification is ‘why was he ousted’ whereas a ‘democratic dictator’ is more dangerous and destroys state institutions. A ‘democratic dictatorship’ is more dangerous than a military dictatorship, Khan added.
He said that the coming six months would decide for the future of Pakistan.
He said that there is a difference between a movement and politics and that PTI’s movement is to ‘create a new Pakistan’ at a time when a corrupt mafia has taken over the country.
Khan said that the nation becomes poor if leaders steal the funds belonging to the masses. He said that nations progress when departments affiliated with provision of justice are strengthened.
PTI chairman said that Mussolini won elections after he assumed power while Hitler took over institutions after coming to power.
While criticising Government of Punjab and Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif, Imran Khan said that the PNL-N chief erected metro projects in Punjab but everyone knows about the condition of hospitals in the province.
